PERFORMANCE EarthWalk mobile computer labs are so efficient that they can simultaneously charge up to 32 laptops without the use of timers. If you want to charge your laptops during lunch (i.e., 90 minutes) to boost your classroom computer hours for the rest of the day, a standard cart with timers (assuming that the timer is set to switch every half hour) will only charge a maximum 12 laptops for the first half hour, the 12 laptops the second half hour, and back to the first 12 laptops for the third half hour. That's charging only 12 laptops for 60 minutes and 12 laptops for 30 minutes creating uneven distribution of charging power which may affect class curriculum or training.

EASE-OF-USE
Normal laptop carts require that you bind each
AC adapter (or power brick) and fit it into the back of the car manually. EarthWalk's mobile computer labs already have the charging plugs hardwired for simplified cord management, so you don't have to worry about binding AC adapters and/or have wires sticking out.
Additionally, all EarthWalk mobile computer labs are just that - mobile. All mobile labs are easy to maneuver from classroom to classroom, and most models have the smallest footprint on the market.

HARDWIRE NETWORKING
This feature allows network administrators to facilitate maintenance for all laptops that have built-in Wake-onLAN (WoL) capabilities in order to perform such activities as installation/re-imaging of laptop operating systems as well as pushing of software updates.
*NOTE: To utilize this feature the laptops used in the mobile lab system must be capable of Wak-On-LAN (WoL) with the lad closed. Check with you laptop manufacturer to verify WOL with lid closed capability. EarthWalk models R14L / R14Y / R15W can provide WoL with lid closed.
