The EarthWalk SmartCart Series™
is the industry's ultimate wireless mobile computer lab that is designed with heavy-gauge/solid steel construction, locking Anodized aluminum Tambour doors and 6" industrial grade, solid rubber wheels with four swivel casters and locking brakes. The SmartCart16 is a wireless computer lab for up to 16 users. All you need is one standard electrical outlet and Ethernet connection to transfor any existing room into a computer lab/classroom.
Never Run Out of Power the SmartCart16 can be integrated with our exclusive power management architecture, and either the BatteryBay™ Charging Drawer or the PowerStation™ Battery Charging System with SideKick PowerPack™ batteries. And it
can safely secure, store and charge 16 eBuddy™ laptop computers*, 16 additional laptop batteries as well as power all your peripherals from ONE standard wall outlet.

This 16-bay BatteryBay charging system is housed in a retractable bearing slide drawer with LED indicators for charging status. The BatteryBay charging system enables continuous laptop operation by simultaneously recharing up to 16 EarthWalk Lithium-Ion laptop batteries in each drawer. Users can have a spare battery recharging and continue working by performing a "quick-swap" when internal laptop battery is depleted.

| This option provides an integrated 10/100/1000 Ethernet Switch and CAT5e Ethernet cables along side the DC power cord in each laptop storage slot, which when connected to a laptop allows for a hardwired network connection. This feature allows network administrators to facilitate maintenance for laptops that have built-in Wake-on-LAN (WoL) capabilities in order to perform such activities as installation/re-imaging of laptop operating systems as well as pushing of software updates. |

The EW 1U Rack Mounted UPS provides intelligent and relliable power backup for your SmartCart16 wireless mobile computer lab. Its slim 1U design that provides line interactive battery backup, while taking up minimal space and leaving ample room for other EW eServer Kit Components. Powerful 1200VA/600W power handling and UPS battery support allows users to work through short blackouts or safely shutdown systems without loss of active data during longer ones. The UPS has 4 AVR protected outlets, and simple diagnostic LEDs (Fault/Line/Bat) and a built-in RS232 serial port for more detailed diagnostics using the included power management software.
